WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT The Mining Sales Engineer will report to our Sales Manager and will be tasked with achieving agreed sales targets by developing, maintaining and managing new business within the company's mining product line throughout the region. They will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Selling, marketing and promoting all the services and products offered by the company within the mining industryDemonstrating the benefits of the company's product line to customers, ensuring the proper selection and application of product through on-site visits at surface or underground minesEnsuring sales forecasts and budgets are achievedManaging weekly sales reports Managing existing and new accounts, ensuring a superior level of customer service and satisfactionDeveloping and maintaining a deep understanding of the region and, in particular, customer needs and requirementsPreparing documentation and submissions for Tenders, Expressions of Interest and Requests For InformationRepresenting the company in industry events and tradeshows and collaborating with Marketing and other internal stakeholders to prepare for such events Supervisory Responsibility This position will have no supervisory responsibility. Travel Minimal travel involved in this role. WHAT WE EXPECT A technology or Bachelor's degree in a mining or engineering discipline strongly preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales with a successful track record preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in the Mining industry required; this may include surface and/or underground mining, but underground experience on longwalls in the coal industry is preferred.Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal resources to resolve various equipment/lubricant related issuesEstablished network in the mining industry preferredHigh level of personal drive and self-motivation with strong time management and prioritization skillsA passion for achieving business goals and sales targetsAbility to set day to day priorities within overall priority listing, working independently and as part of a teamBe eligible to work in the USA without company sponsorshipCurrent & valid driving license required WHAT WE OFFER Fuchs Lubricants Co. offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
