Essential Duties 13;
:Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures and the companys environmental compliance policy.
:Assist operations, maintenance, engineering and metallurgical groups by understanding the underground mining cycle and entering information into the PITRAM Database, operate dispatch console, answer telephone and two:way radio calls. Enter equipment and mine production information, status and location into the Pitram System. Monitor and enter into PITRAM software the assignment of UG personnel to equipment.
:Record and track movement of all personnel, material movement by loaders and trucks, equipment downtime and the nature of that down time.
:Record and track location at all times of: all jumbo drill holes/bolts; all development rounds fired; all drill footages; all stope rings fired; all raisebore footages; and the status of each active location as it changes.
:Support maintenance team with tracking and managing Key Performance indicators.
:Notify appropriate maintenance personnel of maintenance needs within the underground operations.
:Maintain integrity and ensure any errors are corrected within the PITRAM database.
:Recommend future development of the use of the PITRAM on site.
:Ensure the automation of the PITRAM daily reports each day. Produce other reports as required.

Training and Experience 13;
:Computer knowledge preferred, with ability to type and a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Knowledge of SQL database software is a plus.
:Demonstrate an understanding of mine operations, maintenance and networking functionalities.
:Technical expertise in dispatch communications systems preferred.
:Radio dispatch console experience. 13;

Must be willing to travel underground on occasion to learn about new mining areas and techniques.
