Essential Duties 13;
:Utilize equipment knowledge of weight scales, sonic controllers, recorders, actuators, analyzers, metal detectors, and air dryers to facilitate repairs.
:Install tubing and conduit.
:Pull and terminate wire.
:Assist operations, maintenance, and metallurgical groups by understanding, troubleshooting, problem solving, and optimizing instruments, equipment, and systems.
:Read basic P and IDs, loop diagrams, and schematics.
:Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, plant process and flow, transformers, switch gear, and MCCs.
:Program stand alone instrumentation.
:Utilize basic test equipment, basic Electronic/Electrical theory, basic computer loops, and mechanical theory to calibrate instruments.
:Calibrate common instruments.
:Perform basic transformer/switch gear/motor control repairs.
:Write PM procedures.
:Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures and the companys environmental compliance policy.

Training and Experience 13;
Minimum of two years instrumentation experience in a mining environment, or comparable related experience.
Working Conditions 13;
:Ability to carry out assigned tasks to the required standards with minimal supervision.
:Must be willing to travel underground and learn about new mining areas and techniques. 13;
